1. What are the basic components of Hydraulic System in tractors?

Explainthem briefly.

- Hydraulic bombs: The hydraulic pumps are in

charge of generating the energy and transmitting it
to the rest of the system so that the tractor can
function correctly. Its function is to make the liquid
move inside the component that we will explain
below, the tank.

- Hydraulic reservoir: Within the hydraulic system

of a tractor we also find the tank, which is basically
the place where the oily liquid that allows the
operation of the entire system is stored.

- Hydraulic valves: Another of the essential

components are the hydraulic valves, they
are in charge of starting and stopping the
system, in addition to this they also have the
function of directing the fluid towards the
components that are required.

- Hydraulic actuators: This

component is the main one in charge
of transforming the hydraulic energy
for the correct functioning of the
system. Like other components, it can
vary its way of acting by generating a
rotary movement or creating a linear movement.

- Hydraulic motors: Another important piece is the

hydraulic motor, which can function as an actuator, and is
the one that grants the circular movement.

2. What are the types of Hydraulic System in tractors?

- Currently there
are two types of
hydraulic systems
which are: open
hydraulic system
and closed
hydraulic system.

Open and closed

hydraulic systems
refer to different ways of reducing pressure to the pump. Doing this can
help reduce wear. In an open system, the pump is always running,
moving oil through the pipes without building up pressure.

3. ¿Can you mention the advantages and disadvantages of Hydraulic

System intractors?

► ADVANTAGES:

❖ Transmission of forces.
❖ Exact positioning.
❖ Start from scratch with maximum load.
❖ Homogeneous and independent movements of the load.
❖ Good handling characteristics.
❖ Overload protection.

► DISADVANTAGES:

❖ Environment pollution.
❖ Sensitivity to dirt.
❖ Temperature dependency.
