Below are the CLASS RULES which EVERYONE WILL STRICTLY FOLLOW:

Attendance & Absenteeism

1. Attendance is VERY IMPORTANT.

2. If you miss a class WITHOUT any Medical Certificate (MC) or valid reason and supporting documents, your attendance for
that day will be marked as "O".
3. If you are absent from class for more than three (3) times WITHOUT ANY VALID REASON, you WILL BE BARRED from doing
the Final Exam.
4. Attendance will only be taken ONCE for EACH STUDENT.
5. Any request to CHANGE attendance after it has been marked WILL NOT be entertained.
6. Any lessons done in class WILL NOT be repeated.
7. If you miss a class, it is YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY to catch up with your friends by asking them the notes from that class.
That said, your friend is NOT OBLIGED to help you.
8. You are advised to use the restroom and get yourselves ready BEFORE CLASS STARTS. After class starts, you will only be
allowed to go out DURING BREAK TIME (usually after the first hour).

Exam & Homework

1. PLAGIARISM or COPYING OF ANSWERS from ONLINE SOURCES such as Google for your EXAMS and/or HOMEWORK
are/is STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED.
2. If you are found to have copied answers from the internet OR your friends OR both during your exams, your exam might be
given an AUTO-ZERO leading to FAILURE OF THE EXAM.
3. The same rule applies to HOMEWORK. You are PROHIBITED from COPYING YOUR FRIEND’S/FRIENDS’ homework. PLEASE
PUT IN THE WORK to your OWN STUDIES.
4. Students who "help" their friends by giving answers during exams MIGHT ALSO BE GIVEN AN AUTO-ZERO.

Classroom Behaviour & Conduct

1. While doing activities or class discussions, you MUST RESPECT YOUR TEACHER and YOUR FRIENDS.
2. ANY BULLYING or RAISING OF VOICE while doing work with your friends WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.
3. YOU WILL USE ONLY ENGLISH in the classroom.
4. Please be responsible for YOUR OWN LEARNING. Respect is a TWO-WAY STREET.

Dress Code

1. We kindly remind you to ADHERE TO THE DRESS CODE POLICY. Please ensure that YOUR ATTIRE aligns with the
GUIDELINES OUTLINED ON THE UNIVERSITY WEBSITE. Your COOPERATION IN MAINTAINING A SUITABLE DRESS
CODE is greatly appreciated and contributes to a positive learning environment.

Kindly also make necessary arrangements at your end by ensuring the following:

1. Bring along a notebook AND pen.

2. Make sure your CONNECTION TO THE INTERNET IS STABLE.
3. Please CONNECT TO THE CAMPUS WI-FI AND MICROSOFT TEAMS BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS STARTS. Kindly refer to the
