Dear Parents and Students,

Greetings!

Delegation of responsibility and giving authority to children is important as it teaches

them lifelong skills of being powerful and caring at the same time. The Student Council
is an integral facet which portrays students’ voice.

OBJECTIVES:

 The purpose of the Student Council is to give students an opportunity to develop

leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects
 Create an environment where every student can voice out their concern or need.
 Provide a platform where the students can showcase their talent without
hesitation.
 The Student Council Body is responsible for the fluid & graceful functioning of
student organized environment.

Note:

● Students can enroll for one post only. Submitting multiple entries will result
in disqualification of the candidate
● Selection of House Posts will be done by the House Masters of the respective
campuses taking into consideration academics, co-curricular and extracurricular
activities over the past two years and interview.
● Selection of class representatives will be done by class teachers of a particular
grade taking into consideration academics, co-curricular and extracurricular
activities over the past two years and interview.
● Students will be given an opportunity to do their campaign posters/speeches
through the special edition of Newsletter and Broadcast media.
● Nomination does not imply selection. Committee reserves the right to cancel the
candidature of student if at any point in time s/he is found violating the code of
conduct of elections or Student Council Body.
