MAKE UP FOR EVER’s mission is to give women access to all the products and
savoir-faire of the pro makeup artist world. As a brand created by a professional
makeup artist for makeup artists, MAKE UP FOR EVER has never lost touch with
its roots. It is and always has been about sharing the artistry with pros and women.

When MAKE UP FOR EVER was first created in 1984, Founder and Artistic
Director Dany Sanz already had a well-documented grounding in and unshaken
love for the arts. As such, they have been a part of every move the brand has made
over the past 30 years.

A makeup palette has always been considered an artist’s palette at the company.
Makeup is another means for self-expression, like painting, the skin being the
canvas.
Believing in the truth that mastery unleashes creativity, MAKE UP FOR EVER
has perfected products and makeup techniques in order to liberate the artistic
aspirations in all of us.

Passing on knowledge and educating others – whether internally, in-store or through

the MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy’s worldwide network – are pretty good
'raisons d’être' to explain the company’s existence. They play such an important
role in the story.
