Career Summary
I am an Electrical Engineer with over ten years of experience in electrical engineering across various industries.
In May 2014, I commenced my career as a testing engineer in a power transformer manufacturing factory in India,
and by January 2017, I was promoted to Assistant Manager within the same factory. Since January 2018, I have
been working in the Middle East, contributing to the engineering, execution, and supervision of installations,
testing, commissioning, repair, and retrofitting of electrical components in various GIS and AIS substations.

I am currently serving as an Electrical Inspector in 400kV,220kV,132kV,66kV&11kV transmission and distribution


substations at WSP International, Qatar. In this role, I review all electrical substation-related electrical engineering
design drawings & documents, reports, method statements, and prioritize supervision of site activities covered
under EPC Contracts GTC/954/2019 and GTC/956B/2019 for the Qatar General Electricity and Water authority.

Review and provide comments on engineering documents submitted by vendors/contractors such as
Hitachi/ABB, Siemens, GE, and L&T. This includes substation equipment scheme drawings, interlock
drawings, marshalling Kiosk layouts, electrical layout GA drawings, CT and VT sizing calculations, earthing
calculations, method statements, FAT procedure documents, site acceptance test formats, FAT reports, single-

Factory Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of power system equipment such as power transformers,
shunt reactor, Series reactors, LVAC/DC systems, GIS LCC panels, insulators, capacitors, lightning arresters,
cables, grounding, lighting, cable tray and other related substation equipment.

Site Inspection: Perform site inspections for 400kV and 220kV electrical substation equipment, ensuring
compliance with IEC, IEE, and Kahramaa specifications during installation and acceptance tests.

Project Coordination: Attend project meetings, report discrepancies, and communicate with other discipline
engineers like civil and MEP for site coordination.

Field Testing and Commissioning: Execute field tests for power system equipment including power

1)400/220kV Al Baraha Super 1: New Transmission Substation incorporating 400kV GIS, 220kV GIS, 3 x
400/220kV, 500MVA Power Transformers, Auxiliary Transformers, 3 x 400kV, 60MVAR Reactors, and other
associated equipment and works as required.

2)220/66/11kV Ras Abu Aboud Super (Upgrade), 220/66/11kV Ain Khalid Super (Upgrade): Existing
220/66/11kV Substation shall be expanded by the addition of 4 x220kV GIS bays, 2 x 220, 60MVAr Shunt
Reactors and other associated equipment and works as required.

3)220/132/11kV Jeryan Jenihat Super (Upgrade): Existing 220/132/11kV Substation (built under Phase 9
Project by M/s Siemens – GTC/240A/2008) shall be expanded by the addition of 1 x 220/132kV, 315MVA

1)400/220/132/11kV Abu Nakhleh Super: Four (4) units of 16 Ohm, 400kV line connected current limiting
reactors shall be installed at 2x400 kV ANS – LZS and 2x400 kV ANS – MPCL OHL circuits along with other
associated equipment and works as required.

2)400/132/11kV Logistic Zone Super: Two (2) units of 16 Ohm, 400kV line connected current limiting reactors
shall be installed at 2x400 kV MPCL – LZS OHL circuits along with other associated equipment and works as
required. System Studies to be performed.
