ABOUT US
▪ ui!] Urban Lighting Innovations GmbH was founded in 2017 as a subsidiary of
the [ui!] Urban Software Institute.

▪ With customised solutions, we turn street lighting systems into digital hubs -
regardless of manufacturer and technology. The world's first standard for
multifunctional street lighting, DIN SPEC 91347, is a central component of
our approach.

▪ The [ui!] Urban Lighting Innovations GmbH team brings more than 25 years
of experience in the operation, construction and modernisation of street
lighting systems and public infrastructure to its projects and has been
working on the multifunctional dimension of street lighting in the smart city
context since 2012. We support municipalities and regions as well as utility
companies and infrastructure operators in key areas of digital
transformation, such as the environment, transport and safety. In this
context, the team has been able to plan and successfully implement
numerous projects on a total of 4 continents.

▪ Our portfolio of solutions is rounded off by innovative basic solutions such as

integrable batteries for operating IoT devices on days when there is no
power, foundation systems for replacing lighting columns without civil
engineering and components to integrate fiberoptics into existing poles.

Involvement of the client

Valid for all service packages

• Any necessary approvals and authorisations from

local authorities/offices will be obtained by the client.

• Any special vehicles required (e.g. work platform,

cherry picker) will be provided by the client.
• Power connections (if required) must be provided by
the customer (ideally 230V AC continuous voltage).
Using IoT-ENERGY 230V for at least 6 hours per day.

• Suitable installation locations must be provided by

the customer (advice included).
