Statement of purpose

I am a graduate of University of Education, Winneba with Information Technology Education

as the course study. I got an appointment in Ghana Education Serves (GES) as a teacher. After
working for more than four years as a teacher in Ghana Education Serves, I have realized the
need to step out of the corporate world to enhance my skills even more to keep me at pace with
this ever-changing world. My name is Rabiwu Abdul Latif and I am writing to express my
interest in pursuing master’s in Education in Liverpool Hope University. I am very much
convinced with the real-world experience, I’m going to get a lot of knowledge, training and
skills to solve the numerous challenges most industries face in my country and the world as a
whole after the study.

United Kingdom is home of quality and world’s top-ranking universities, which has a long
history of providing world-class education and offer specialized degrees which aim at
redefining students critical and creative thinking skills with real-world experience that will
enable them to fit into the industry.

honour and privileged to receive a degree from a UK university that will provide me with
requisite knowledge and experience that will help me get my dream job. Also, UK is a
multicultural country where people from different background comes together and live in a
peaceful community, so I am quite sure I will receive a warm welcome.

employers and academics worldwide. Considering the cost of tuition is as well cheaper than
other countries and their payment plan too very flexible.

Why study Education.

I believe that every individual has the right to quality education which is conducted with
appropriate curriculum, instructions and especially technological resources everyone must
have access to. With these resources, learning will be enhanced to the studying capacity of
every student. When technology is incorporated with education, it helps for students to able to
learn outside school boundaries and are able to find a wide range of learning materials on the
internet so as learning comes with ease and enhanced. With my desire to continue to work as a
teacher coupled with my strong background in Information Technology Education, I would
like to create an inclusive environment for student to learn and develop their talent. The MA.
Education in Liverpool Hope University, seems to be tailored for my needs. With the highly
qualified faculty, research facilities and computing resources at your University I believe I
would be able to pursue my career aspirations. I have motivation, aptitude and desire to learn.
I hope that my academic background coupled with my work experience and desire towards the
subject will enable me develop myself into a future Educational Curriculum professional. I
