CAC : CREATE A CULTURE

GRADE 6 FINAL PROJECT


ICHTHUS SCHOOL WEST
WHAT IS CAC ?
Objective: to increase students’ understanding of what makes a culture unique &
also to help them see and appreciate the similarities and differences that exist
among cultures.
By designing a fictitious culture and deciding its history, students will learn how
cultures develop, change and grow.
Grades for SA2 & Projects Term 4,
E, M, S  SA2, CAC is for Project T4.
There will be classes for EMS, after Cambridge Checkpoint, one period of EMS
will be used for CAC.
Quiz T4 will still be administered as usual  following testing window term 4.
Class work grades will be taken from student’s everyday project working.

project making & Rehearsal
Presentation  each group 25-30 minutes  Presentation: Tuesday, May 28,2024.
11 subjects  14 culture elements.
Awards  Best Presentation, Best Project and Most Creative Costume
Onsite  Students have to do all the projects by themselves.
Students have to create their own name for the all the culture elements  not taking from
the existing ones.

GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS
All team members MUST WORK.
While children are working on their group projects and sub-parts, teachers will supervise them,
maintain discipline and cordiality.
Teachers will guide the students in their progress.
If you have any important concerns, report to the teachers as soon as possible.
Minus point will be given to teams who are not working.
Class work grades will be taken from your everyday project working.
Don’t forget to put wit and humor in your presentation.
Leaders assigned is just for coordination matters, it does not mean that the leaders take all the
responsibilities.
Members need to work well in the group and cooperate well with the other members.
