these expectations vary across demographic factors such as socio-economic status, cultural

influence the self-perception and motivation of senior high school students at Polanco National

(4) How do students navigate and manage the tension between their own interests, aspirations,
and the expectations of their parents while making career choices during their high school years?
(5) In what ways do parental expectations affect the study habits, extracurricular activities, and
overall well-being of senior high school students at Polanco National High School?
(6) How do the perceptions of parents, students, teachers, and administrators on the impact of
parental expectations on career choices differ, and what are the underlying reasons for these
discrepancies?
(7) What are the potential consequences of high parental expectations on the mental health and
emotional well-being of senior high school students, and how can these effects be mitigated?
(8) How do the career choices of senior high school students at Polanco National High School
align with the societal needs and the country's development goals, and to what extent do parental
expectations contribute to this alignment or misalignment?
