Employees shall note that the terms of your employment are governed by the policies & processes of the
organization, which are updated under “Policies & Procedures” section of SSO and MYJD app. It is the
responsibility of employees to be aware of the latest policies and procedures as updated by the
organization from time to time.

Changes to the policy document will be notified to the employees from time to time through the “Policy
Updates” tab on MYJD app. It is the responsibility of employees to be aware of the notifications, the
updated terms/clauses to the policy and to abide.

Employees who fail to comply with the policies and procedures from time to time will be treated as breach
of code. The organization holds no responsibility for employees’ unawareness towards the policies and
procedures beyond the established channels of communications and tools to access.

Guidelines

This policy guides employees and organization about individuals qualifying for
promotion and progression.

 Promotion / Progression from one grade to another or within same grade that
involves change in job role, grade, may or may not involve salary change.
 Employees shall have completed minimum 1 year tenure in their current role to be
eligible for either progression or promotion to next level.
 Recommendations to promote / progress any employee raises from individual’s
reporting head followed by approvals from respective HOD & business heads on
meeting following conditions:
o Minimum 1 year tenure completion in current role / grade / dept.
o Consistent performance during the assessment year.
o Meeting individual KRA / KPI’s consistently during assessment year.
 Promotion / Progression exercise is carried out along with appraisal & increment
exercise carried out during each year.
 It’s under company’s discretion to either conduct / modify / withdraw any such
appraisals / increment / progression or promotion exercise either during appraisal
cycle or at any given point during individuals tenure with the company.
 Company reserves right to either promote / demote any employee basis
individual’s performance and conduct without any prior notice.

Any changes to this policy/document will be under the discretion and approval of CPO.
