We are participating in the architectural design competition for the Design of ‘Dhaka North City Corporation
Civic Center’ for Dhaka North City Corporation at Gulshan model town, City Jorip Daag no-3434, DNCC Market,
Gulshan 2, Thana –Gulshan, Dhaka 1212. Organized by DNCC in association with IAB.

1. We have followed the rules of the above competition.

2. We shall accept the decision of the Panel of Jurors as final and binding on us.
3. We fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria to participate in the above competition as stipulated in the
rules.
4. The submitted design is an original one entirely created by us.
5. We have observed all pertinent building regulations and design codes of Bangladesh in the
submitted proposal.
6. We are allowing IAB and DNCC to publish the submitted design proposal for publicity, publication
and exhibitions.
7. All correspondence regarding this competition should be directed to the person, address and
phone numbers mentioned at the end of this form.

Notes:
1. For the definition of Architect & Architectural Consultant, definition 1.13 & 1.14 of the IAB
Constitution shall apply.
2. “Design Architect(s)” means a single Team Leader or a combination of a Team Leader with other
Design Architect(s). This association can’t be changed for this competition.
3. IAB Membership dues of the Team Leader must be paid up-to-date. Otherwise, the team will be
disqualified.
4. IAB Membership dues of the other “Design Architect(s)” has been paid up-to-date. Otherwise,
their names shall not be announced, published, or printed in the Certificate.
5. Only the name of the “Design Architect(s)” will be printed in the Certificate.
6. “Other Team Members” name will only be published in the exhibition and publication.
7. If required other team members list can be resubmitted (modified/revised) along with design
submission. Use a sealed separate envelop for this.

8. For the approval of Declaration form, submit to Competition Director at IAB center by
12.12.2021, Sunday, 5:00 PM.
9. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) should be submitted along with the Declaration form
for the case of joint venture, with company to company or with company to person for the
eligibility or any other purpose.
10. Incomplete and wrong statement in the Declaration Form may result disqualification.
