OPERATION AND SAFETY

CONSIDERATION

Dear Colleagues,

Our Fleet expecting a busy production period between the 15th of December 2022 and the 5th of
January 2023. The Flight operations would like to bring up the following issue to your attention aiming to
maintain safe and smooth operations.

Operational

Some of us will be having plans to spend time with family for Christmas and the new year, unfortunately,
Flight Operations may not be able to accommodate all requests due to the availability of our crew
strength and we do appreciate your understanding.

Our top management has already shown a good appreciation for our performance in the past by
improving the remuneration post-pandemic therefore it is appropriate to show our professionalism to
support safe and smooth operations during this festive season.

Safety

With the busy operations coming up we would like to remind the crew to be able to manage fatigue and
operational pressure so is not negatively affect the flight.

It is Flight Operations policy to perform the flight at the highest level of Safety, Stabilize Approach is
mandatory to be maintained, in the absence of the Stabilize condition within the cutting Gate a Go
around is our next line of defense to safely escape from the unwanted condition.
The challenge of dealings with a Technical Issue in our Aircraft still exists.
The Flight Operations is confident that all of us will be able to maintain adequate proficiency with the
procedure and System knowledge, brushing up ECAM handling philosophy, responding to ECAM
Advisory, and perhaps reviewing understanding about the selected system like Pressurization, Engine
Abnormal procedure may come in handy to make a good judgment when facing technical abnormalities
during the flight.
