Challenges in Bridge project

Objective was to offshore and nearshore to TBS – Consolidation of admin and

non-core tasks

1. VAT knowledge – India folks have to be updated of the changes in VAT

2. Technology within countries were different eg – documentation was done
on HABEL for HU whereas Documentum was used for PL & SK
3. Decoupling of treasury activities was difficult
4. Complex queries required language understanding and quick response
times – these processes had to be nearshored
5. Contract validation checklist for suppliers had to be updated by the local
teams
6. Processes, SLA, RACI was established to decouple updating knowledge
base required to complete the job from the routine job
