BREAKING MY MOTHER’S HEART

By: ANONYMOUS

In this personal narrative essay the introduction part is the relation between two people
( mother and child ). The mother and child talk on the phone via the internet, and as
time goes on, the child feels compelled to respond about her mother's habit of telling
her that she needs financial support from her and her siblings. She feels self-conscious
every time she responds to her mother. The youngster loves her mother more than
anyone else, but she feels uneasy when she hears her mother say, "I need cash," over
and over again. She feels depressed because, as a daughter, she needs money too, but
every time her mother begs her, she tells her to completely forget about that desire.

The mother and child are very close, but as time passes, everything changes as a result
of her mother's desire (money). She feels depressed whenever her mother asks for
money and constantly worries about it because she will prioritize her mother's need
over her own. One day, when on the phone with her mother, she raised her voice, and
ever then, she has felt that it is bad to raise your voice in front of your mother, showing
her every night a sign that it is seriously wrong. As night fell, she abruptly realized that
she had been thinking of herself as being highly sensitive and egotistical. She learns
from her sister's remark that her mother's sacrifice for them cannot be atoned for or
replaced by money. The final detail is that she contacts her mother immediately away to
explain everything, realizing that talking to your loved ones and forming bonds requires
you to make sure that it won't lead to them breaking heart.
