OBJECTIVES
Knowledge:
1. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the pathophysiology of common diseases and
conditions encountered in nursing practice, including their etiology, risk factors, and clinical
manifestations.
2. Critically analyze and apply evidence-based practice guidelines and nursing protocols in the care of
patients..
3. Demonstrate proficiency in pharmacology, including the safe administration of medications,
understanding of drug interactions, and management of medication side effects.
4. Gain an understanding of the principles of health promotion and disease prevention, with an emphasis
on educating patients about lifestyle modifications and preventive health measures.
5. Develop cultural competence in nursing practice, recognizing and respecting the diverse beliefs, values,
and practices of patients and their families.

Skill:
1. Demonstrate proficiency in performing a comprehensive health assessment, including physical
examination, psychosocial assessment, and health history taking.
2. Accurately interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results, integrating this information into the overall
patient care plan.
3. Develop proficiency in nursing interventions, including wound care, medication administration,
intravenous therapy, and basic life support techniques.
4. Gain competence in using nursing informatics and technology to enhance patient care, including
electronic health records and telehealth communication.
5. Develop effective communication skills, including therapeutic communication, patient education, and
interdisciplinary collaboration.
