Dear Sir / Madam,

I am writing to suggest something that is very important to me, that is to introduce the next person
who deserves to be honoured with a doodle and that person is Kobe Bryant.

First of all, Kobe Bryant was born on 23 august 1978 in Philadelphia, in Pennsylvania. He is the son of
the basketball player Joe Bryant and he spent much of his life in Italy but also in France for two years.
But when he was a teenager, he returned to the United States to continue his studies and in high
school he was very impressive in basketball, he was the best. In 1996, he was named the best high
school basketball student. Then, in the same year, he entered the 1996 NBA draft and was selected
by the Charlotte Hornets team, then transferred to the Lakers when he was only 17.

Moreover, his accomplishments were many in his life, from his second year with the Lakers, he
became an excellent player thanks to his spectacular game and his progress during the previous year.
Furthermore, this year he is nicknamed the "Kid" or "Next Michael Jordan" and Kobe succeeds in
making people passioner again in basketball. And after four years at the Lakers, Kobe and his team
finally won the NBA, then he is repeatedly named the MVP of the All-Star Game.

However, in 2002 Kobe failed to lead the Lakers to victory because his famous teammate O'Neal was
hurt and so his team was misplaced this year. The journalists criticized him a lot, but Kobe Bryant
only thought of training to be more successful next time, the critics did nothing to him because he
never gave up, the critics strengthened him.

Unfortunately, on January 26 2020, Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna died from a helicopter
crash. The whole world was in mourning for a long time, Kobe Bryant had become a basketball
legend who left too soon, leaving an entire generation remembering him forever. A lot of celebrities
paid tribute to him like Neymar, Taylor Swift or Donald Trump, but also during the Grammys
ceremony.

To sum up, Kobe Bryant was a very talented basketball player who gradually became one of the
greatest basketball players, he became as strong thanks to his defeats that he endured and that
allowed him to improve. Despite criticism from journalists, Kobe Bryant never gave up and he
became better. To my mind, making a doodle of Kobe Bryant would be an exceptional tribute for him
and I propose to set up this doodle on the day of his brutal death, January 26. He was my idol in my
childhood and still today and other people are like me.
