Abstract:-

The field of salesmanship plays a crucial role in the success of any business, particularly in the highly
competitive automobile industry. This study aims to explore the concept of salesmanship and its impact
on customer satisfaction and business growth, with specific reference to the Sree Maa TVS Automobile
Showroom.

Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including interviews, surveys,
and observation, this study examines the key elements of effective salesmanship within the context of
the Sree Maa TVS Automobile Showroom. The research focuses on understanding the sales techniques
employed by the showroom's sales personnel, their communication skills, product knowledge, and
customer relationship management abilities.

The findings of this study will contribute to a deeper understanding of the role of salesmanship in the
automobile industry, particularly within the Sree Maa TVS Automobile Showroom. The research will
provide insights into best practices and strategies for enhancing salesmanship skills, improving customer
satisfaction, and driving business growth in the context of a showroom environment.

OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the study on salesmanship with reference to Sree Maa TVS Automobile Showroom are:

 To examine the sales techniques employed by the sales personnel at Sree Maa TVS Automobile
Showroom.
 To evaluate the communication skills of the sales personnel and their ability to effectively convey
product information and benefits to customers.
 To assess the level of product knowledge possessed by the sales personnel and its impact on
customer satisfaction and sales outcomes.
 To analyze the customer relationship management practices at Sree Maa TVS Automobile
Showroom and their influence on customer retention and loyalty.
 To measure the level of customer satisfaction with the sales experience at Sree Maa TVS
Automobile Showroom.
 To identify best practices and strategies for enhancing salesmanship skills and improving overall
sales performance at Sree Maa TVS Automobile Showroom.
 To contribute to the existing body of knowledge on salesmanship in the context of the
automobile industry, with specific reference to Sree Maa TVS Automobile Showroom.

Schedule:-
Sree Maa TVS Automobile Showroom or its internship schedules as my training data only goes up until
September 2021. However, I can provide you with a general outline for an internship on the study of
salesmanship. You can use this as a reference to create your own schedule or adapt it to fit your
specific needs. Here's a suggested schedule:

Week 1:

Introduction to Sree Maa TVS Automobile Showroom: Understand the company's history, values, and
products.

Familiarization with the sales team: Meet and interact with the sales team members to understand their
roles and responsibilities.

Week 2:

Sales process overview: Learn about the sales process followed at the showroom, from customer
engagement to closing the sale.

Final presentation: Present your project findings and recommendations to the sales team and
management at Sree Maa TVS Automobile Showroom.

Limitations:-
 As an intern, I might be assigned relatively simple or repetitive tasks. I might not have the
opportunity to handle complex or significant responsibilities within the showroom.
 Interns typically have limited decision-making authority. You may need to seek approval or
guidance from supervisors or managers for most actions or decisions.
 It is not possible to get a proper idea about all the activities of a company within this short
period.
