The Paynovate Merchant Management System (MMS)

The MMS is a web based portal designed to show you real time transaction information that has
been generated from the Payment Gateway transactions. The MMS will hold all of the trans-
action data in a secure way and provide you and your Merchants with a detailed transaction
receipt for each transaction.

Other features of the MMS include:

• A user friendly Virtual Terminal
• Manual payment and refund transaction functions
• Customisable fraud management tools that provide the Merchant with the ability to dictate
the levels to which the Merchant’s account will automatically check transaction authenticity
• Failed transaction reporting and logging function enabling the Merchant to chase up poten-
tial lost sales. This helps Merchants to further mitigate fraud and manage it in the event it does
occur.
• Customisable transaction summary downloads for specific time periods.
• Downloadable data reports for individual transactions.
• Access to historical data reports for every transaction processed, each data report is avail-
able for up to 180 days from the processing date of each individual transaction.

MMS Users
Each merchant will receive credentials for one user in MMS, but we can setup additional users
as well. All we require to set-up an additional user is the first name, last name and e-mail ad-
dress of the user.

We offer a range of different ‘User Levels’:

Administrator: Can view and edit all data within the MMS. Can process all transaction types.
Managers: Can view all data within the MMS but cannot change anything. Can do all transac-
tion types.
Supervisors: Can view and change all data in MMS. Unable to process Refunds or Credits.
Support: Can view all data within the MMS but cannot make changes. Can only process Sales
and PreAuths.
Monitors: Can view all data but cannot make changes. Cannot perform any transaction type.
Web Developers: Access to Preferences only. Cannot do anything else in the MMS.
NoPrefs: Perform all transaction types and view all data. Cannot edit the Preferences.
Support (Refunds): Can view all data within the MMS but cannot make changes. Can also pro-
cess Refunds/Cancels.
Admin (No Credits): Can view and edit all data within the MMS. Can process all transaction
types, apart from Credits.
Monitor and Refund: The user can view everything and only process refunds.
VT Only User: The user can only process Sales on the VT, no access to other tabs (must also se-
lect Support)
Accountants: View only access to Merchant Accounts, Transaction viewing and Invoices. Ac-
countants can also download reports.
