INTRODUCTION

 What is Child Labor?


According to UNICEF “child” is anyone below age ’18’ and
“child labor” is some type of work performed by children
below age of “18 years”.
 “THIS WORK DEPRIVES CHILDREN OF THEIR CHILDHOOD, THEIR
POTENTIAL AND THEIR DIGNITY, AND IS HARMFUL TO PHYSICAL
AND MENTAL DEVELOPMENT”
 Today, In Pakistan child labor is most prominent of all social
issues.
 According to UNICEF report 3.3 Million children are trapped in
child labor

 The issue of child labor in Pakistan demands urgent attention and action. It is
a Violation of children’s rights and a hindrance to the country’s progress.

 By addressing the root causes, enforcing laws, and promoting education,


Pakistan can pave the way for a brighter future where children are free to
learn, grow and contribute positively to society.

 The collective efforts of individuals, communities and institutions can create a


world where children’s rights are protected and they are free to progress in
their right field.
