Learning Objective:
To let the students understand the basics of perceptual biases and their
influence on organizational decision-making.
Learning Outcomes:
After attempting this assignment students will be able to:
 Have a clearer understanding of the practical industrial scenarios.
 Think over the implications of the simple theoretical concept to the
corporate level challenges.

Premise:
A prominent textile company in Pakistan has recently secured a significant
order of Denim Products from Belgium for the first time. Concerns have arisen
among the management due to the company's international reputation, potential
domestic issues, pressure from the new client, and fierce global competition. The
Head of the Product Planning & Control department has highlighted the importance
of timely completion of the order, citing local economic and political challenges, as
well as global conflicts, as potential hindrances. In response, the management has
approved longer working hours to meet the deadline, despite employees expressing
reservations about this unprecedented decision.
Requirements:
Keeping in mind the above premise, you are required to elaborate:
 What type of perceptual bias exists in this situation?
 Also provide three main reasons for it.
Marks distribution:
Total Mark 10:
04 marks for the right choice and 2 Marks each for 3 reasons.
IMPORTANT:
24 hours extra/grace period after the due date is usually available to
