General Overview:
We are undertaking a project for our client that requires the recording of 53 audio
tracks. To ensure the highest quality and consistency across all recordings, we have
set specific technical requirements. Both the voice artist and the studio team must
adhere to these guidelines.
The RT60 time of the room should be 90ms or less, ensuring quick decay of
sound reflections.
The room should provide an even frequency response across the entire
spectrum.
For softer vocal styles, such as whispering, the recording should be captured at
-27 LUFS.
For louder vocal styles, such as angry or projected tones, the recording should
be captured at -23 LUFS.
3. Recording Setup:
The voice artist should be isolated in a booth or tracking room to ensure that no
external noise is captured in the recording.
All audio files must be uploaded in the RIFF-WAV file format without any
compression.
Ensure that the files are named and organized systematically for easy
identification and access.
Each audio file should start and end with a silence duration of at least 100ms.
Ensure that high pass (or "low-cut") filters are turned OFF during recording.
Please ensure strict adherence to these guidelines to maintain the quality and
consistency of the audio recordings. If there are any questions or clarifications
needed, do not hesitate to reach out. Let's work together to deliver the best results
for our client.
