Ref:

1. Purpose. To approve disestablishment of subject shore activity detachment per reference (a). 2. Background. The disestablishment of subject detachment is a result of the termination of the detachment mission at that site and a need for additional cryptologic support at parent command. Existing manpower resources will all be realigned to parent command, Navy Information Operations Command Suitland, which will be renamed to Navy Cyber Warfare Development Group. 3. Organizational Changes. Disestablish subject shore activity detachment effective immediately. The following applies: Disestablishment Officer in Charge Navy Information Operations Detachment 250 Hall BLVD STE 324 San Antonio TX 78243 (SNDL: C28AA) (UIC: 39893) * (PLA: NAVIODET SAN ANTONIO TX) *(SNDL: STANDARD NAVY DISTRIBUTION LIST; UIC: Unit Identification Code; PLA: Plain Language Address) 4. Action

a. Commander, U. S. Fleet Forces Command will take appropriate action to disestablish subject shore activity detachment.

b. Master Update Authority, Honolulu, HI will delete the PLA in the Central Directory Component effective immediately, unless otherwise directed via official correspondence. Correspondence concerning the PLA should be forwarded to Naval Network Warfare Command (NAVNETWARCOM) (Code 312), Bldg. 1265, Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, Virginia Beach, VA 23459-5000 or by calling (757) 417-6720 ext. 1-4. NAVNETWARCOM will coordinate removal of the PLA in the Navy Regional Enterprise Message System (NREMS) with applicable Navy Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station. c. Director, Navy Staff, Organization and Management Branch (DNS-33), will revise reference (b). 5. Cancellation Contingency. This notice will remain in effect for 1 year or until superseded, whichever occurs first. The organization action will remain effective until changed by Director, Navy Staff.
