Key Design Decisions/Oracle Leading Practice OMBP Process Model
Time types define how time will be paid. We enable the Time and Labor Management
following time types :
Regular
Overtime
Holiday
Standby Time

Time calculation rules are used to update time entries Time and Labor Management
based on the calculation logic setup in the system. We
enable logic for:
Overtime - For all hours above the threshold of 40 regular
hours for the week for non-exempt employees
Compensatory time - For any hours worked on weekends
or holidays.

Repeating period defines the duration that is covered in a Time and Labor Management
time card. We enable the weekly repeating period.

We enable the use of both timecards and web clocks. Time and Labor Management
We enable the line manager to approve the timecards for Time and Labor Management
their direct reports.

We enable the overtime calculation for all non-exempt Time and Labor Management
employees in the system.

We enable the auto generation of timecards based on the Time and Labor Management
employee's work schedule. Employees can also manually
create timecards.

We enable all absence entries to flow into the timecard of Time and Labor Management
the employee. Employees will have view only access to
these absence entries.
