1. Magazines (Fashion)

Certain publications consist of very scholarly material. Some are solely for amusement. So, you can be
informed, entertained, or both depending on the periodicals you read. Whatever the case, reading engages
different portions of your brain depending on what you read, and enhances your linguistic abilities. Some
people are more adept at honing their language skills than others. And each and every one of them play
video games or watch TV in ways that don’t mentally tax you. One of the essential sources of knowledge in
daily life. They are more lively, current, exciting, and adventurous. It is a useful technique to kill time in
public settings like train stations and hospitals.

However, many magazines can have positive effects, there are also many disadvantages associated with the
words and images more often used by lifestyle magazines. Provocative images featuring music artists such
as Rihanna and Lady Gaga in scantily clad clothing can create an impression amongst teens and young
children that it is appropriate for them to dress in that manner. Frequent images of idolized celebrities
stumbling out of nightclubs can also be seen as acceptable by youngsters for them to get drunk and to
replicate the behavior of their idols. Therefore material included in these magazines could be considered
unacceptable for them to read. Such magazines also tend to promote a particular lifestyle, and often in
doing so can claim that it is wrong to be different in other ways. As a result, such magazines don’t tend to
encourage creativity or individuality, and instead advertise that one style fits all.

2. Comic Books (Marvel Comics)

There are other kinds of reading you should be interested in than academic publications. Actually, though,
Selecting enjoyable reading material will help you become a better reader, develop your creativity, and You
improve in a variety of academic areas. Comic books are fun and full of illustrations that appeal to young
and old people. These funny books have several benefits that can’t be found in more serious books.
Although you won’t find lots of academic benefits in comics, they will help you become a faster and better
reader. Most statements from professional writers show that reading comic books boosts readers’
confidence. If students or adults are struggling, the illustrations give them cues that enable them to read
faster. They can extract the meaning of difficult words by looking at drawings and illustrations.

However, reading comics at a wrong time and place to be dangerous and not good too. As example, reading
comics in a class while the teacher is teaching at the front. This is a bad habit that must not be followed as it
can make our studies going down. Our teachers will be very angry too.

3. Posters (Movies & Events)

A poster speaks for itself, It is not required for the author to be present. Thus, it is feasible to arrive at a
larger audience as opposed to a presentation with a time constraint. It is also feasible to give several
posters in the same space and at the same time, allowing guests to view those posters captivated by. As the
author, you may occasionally have the opportunity to present a poster along with a brief overview. When
there is tight touch between the presenter and the audience closer than when giving a lecture. Posters can
be used several times and presented at different events. A poster is suited for people suffering from stage
fright at least, for those who have difficulties when speaking in front of large groups. Standing next to their
poster for some time in order to answer just a few questions is less stressful than talking on a lectern.
However, once a poster is printed it will be difficult to make corrections or adaptions; it is therefore less
flexible when compared to a presentation that can be modified any time. A poster must attract attention.
Especially when being presented at a poster fair, it has to compete with many others posters. Preparing a
poster can take just as much time as when writing a speech. However, practice makes perfect. Posters
generally require reduced content as well as getting to the point. Selecting what has to be included or
omitted is not always easy.

4. Outdoor Media (Graffiti wall art)

This Icon is similar to poster and comic books, when looking at it this give you a sense of creativity
which you imagine wonders just like your childhood. Graffiti can make our environment more colourful.

Of course for graffiti this has good colour and good composition. With graffiti our environment is not as
bored as if there is no graffiti. Say for example, when we were in traffic jam.

We see graffiti in pillar or on the wall along the street; we will feel not bored anymore, right? Like I said a
while ago we sense our creativeness and others.

However, other people have other opinions about graffiti. Some graffiti’s are vandalism, because it is
meaningless. For some people who do not like graffiti, they see that graffiti is destroy someone property. It
just teenagers bad habit.

5. Billboards (Advertisement)

This icon is a large outdoor advertising structures typically found in high-traffic areas. It's a form of outdoor
advertising that have been used for centuries. The primary purpose of a billboard is to display
advertisements for products, services, or events. These advertisements are often bright, eye-catching, and
designed to capture the attention of passing motorists or pedestrians.

It allows advertisers to reach a large audience.

They are often used to promote movies, television shows, music albums, and other forms of entertainment.

It serves as a form of out-of-home advertising that aims to capture the attention of a large audience.

In some cases, however, billboards are used for cultural or social commentary. Artists and activists may use
billboards as a platform to convey messages about important issues or to provoke thought and discussion.
