1. Climate Change
 Define the issue
 The global temperatures are rising, and are estimated to increase from 2.6 degrees Celsius
to 4.8 degrees Celsius by 2100.
 Status
 In the last few years, the world has experienced devastating extreme weather
caused by climate change, record temperatures and rapid ice melt. Scientists
are now tracking the state of the climate more than ever.
 Cause/s

 Impact
 This would cause more severe weather, crises with food and resources and the spread of
diseases.
 Program
 Lobbying governments and discussing policies to reduce carbon emissions and
encouraging reforestation is an effective way of making progress with climate change.
