The line graph illustrates how many grams of fish and three different types of meat were eaten in a

European nation from 1979 to 2004.

Overall, there was a fall the consumption of fish and some different kinds of meat (beef and lamb)
while chicken was an only increase meat in a European country when we compare first year and last
year. In addition, fish was the food which had the least amount of change.
About 215 grams beef per person per week were consumed in 1979, with a sudden fluctuation in the
range from 215 grams to 120 grams during the period from 1979 to 2004. Similar to changes can be
seen in the figure for lamb, which started at 150 grams and fluctuated irregularly in the range,
followed by a decrease to roughly 60 grams in the last year.
Chicken was the only dish that had a climb in grams when looking at its overall figure. Starting with
about 140 grams in 1979, although it had many fluctuations during 25 years, finally chicken achieved
more 250 grams in 2004. Conversely, the figure of fish was the least volatile. Throughout the period
from 1979 to 2004, the consumption of it just changed about 20 grams. Specifically, grams of fish
dropped from approximately 60 grams to 40 grams per person per week.
