GOAL 1: To learn about bidding process of an FPSO project

Description: Being involved in the bidding stage of Petrobras Project (P84 and P85) requires clear
understanding of roles of parties involved such as Petrobras (client), Seatrium (bidder) and KBR
(consultant). As the process engineer, it is fundamental to facilitate the process studies (i.e: delta
studies) and assist in process-related queries during Technical Bid Evaluation. All in all, to produce a
strong and good quality bid.

Achievement: Produced a complete process study outlining the difference in 178 Piping and
Instrumentation Diagram between P82 and P84/P85 that will allow the Commercial Team to detect
any potential increase in project cost.

GOAL 2: To learn about process deviation impacts and ways to mitigate it.

Description: All projects require HAZOP to ensure a smooth operation. As a process engineer, I have
been assigned to critically review the conformance process lines as per discussed in HAZOP.

Achievement: Closed off pending P78 Topside HAZOP (RTVs and RTHs) findings in Design Change
Management system by reviewing related required documents such as P&ID, 3D Drawings, Cause
and Effect Matrix .

Weightage: 30

GOAL 3: To ensure all P78 Vendor Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) is up to date

Description: It is crucial to ensure all vendor P&ID is updated timely not only for good record keeping
for future reference but most importantly, to avoid last-minute changes impacting design,
procurement, construction which will incur undesirable cost increase.

Achievement: Established a Vendor P&ID Punchlist containing trackable changes of around 500++
P&IDs.

Being in 2 projects have improved my understanding in the company’s goals and client’s requirement
towards the success of these FPSO projects allowing me to better execute tasks assigned to me and
working together with the Process Team. With the coming opportunity, I strive to better develop
myself in the technical area such as technical knowledge, codes and standards.
