ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
 Listened to the discussion of speakers of the different topics about cultural heritage,
documenting and mapping out procedures, and video editing.
 Participated during the lecture.
 Jotted down notes of the important details.
INSIGHTS GAINED
I learned that Cultural mapping is a systematic process involving stakeholder engagement, data
collection, and analysis to identify and catalog cultural elements such as heritage sites and traditions.
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and digital tools are used for efficient mapping. The insights
gained help inform decisions regarding cultural preservation, development, and community
engagement. Regular updates are essential as cultural elements evolve

 Took videos and photos of the potential cultural icon

INSIGHTS GAINED
I realized that being a cultural mapper is not easy, yet fulfilling. It was hard to find a key
informant that could provide information on the potential cultural icon. But after a long day of
walking and searching, I am fortunate enough to find the key informant and have some information
and pictures to use.

During the critiquing, I truly understood that in making narrative for the cultural icon, it must
