Role of the Skin

Elimination of Wastes: The skin helps to remove wastes and excess water from the body through sweat,
which contains urea, salts, and water.

Regulation of Body Temperature: Sweating helps to cool the body down, especially during exercise or high
temperatures, preventing overheating.
