Writing task 1, Map

The given maps introduce the plan of the central library of two showed times as two decades ago and
the present.

Overall, the central library’s floor plan has changes like replacing all of the sections, except a section
(adult fiction book) that have moved to other place. Also, there are some objects were removed, but
there are few were included items in the east side of the public library.

In the past period, there were four sections as goods for teenagers (CDs, videos, computer games) on
the north-west side, children’s books that was placed on the right side from the teenagers’ goods,
reading room (newspapers and magazine) which was located on the left side of the entrance together
with enquiry desk that was in front of children’s books. There were tables and chairs in the center of the
library.

Currently, children’s fiction books replaced the section for CDs, videos, computer games and has several
sofas and storytelling events. In addition, the size of this section has increased considerably. Also there
are substitutions in reading room that changed into computer room a long side with children’s room to
lecture room. Similarly, instead of enquiry desk there is café now. Furthermore, there is appears as self-
service machines, information desk together with adult fiction books which are between lecture room
and café.
