Subject: Students filming outside the school without asking permission to their subject
teacher.

Dear Ma’am Balili:

I am writing this letter today to explain to you what happened last week, dated May 3, 2024
FRIDAY. Mrs. Picaza, the parent of the grade 9 student, complains about the practices of the
performance task that I gave to the grade 9 students. She complained because her child told
her that they would practice or shoot their PT outside the school premises, where I did not
allow them to go outside in the first place. I did not know and don’t have any idea that they
were filming outside the school and did not ask permission from me or their adviser.

I gave the performance task to my grade 9 students on March 18, 2024, before the arrival of
the Japanese student. I originally told them that the deadline for the said task was April 25,
2024. But they asked if I could extend the deadline, so I gave them a chance to pass it on
April 29, but unfortunately, they didn’t. So, I extended the deadline and passed it on May
13, but because of Mrs. Picaza’s complaint, I told the students that they should pass it on
May 4, 2024, at exactly 5:00 p.m.

My Filipino class was scheduled from Monday to Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 pm, and I told
students that they would only use my time for their practices. They don’t have Filipino class
on Friday.

To support this explanation, please see the attached file on the next page of this paper.

Sincerely yours,

Juvylyn M. Endonela
