General Duties of Dodoma City Council HR and

Administration Department
Human Resources
 To administer Staff welfare
 Preparing Personnel Emoluments (PE) and Recurrent budget through Planrep system
 Smooth operation of scheme of services
 Facilitates Selection and Recruitment of personnel in an organization
 To Prepare Staff Leave Roster on time
 Updating, maintaining and auditing of personal data for all employees (TANGE)
 Managing payroll systems and advising staff on renumerations packages
 To prepare job rotation for all Supporting Staff in our organization
 Calculating/approving leave fee, transfer cost and medical treatment cost of employees
 Maintaining Employees disciplines
 Maintenance of Public Service Standing Orders
 Preparing Training programs and succession plans
 Doing Human Resources duties, regularly, receiving and answering customer issues and
responding to them.

Administration
Performing all HR activities plus;
 To ensure that the Information of Employees Transfer is full properly verified scanned and
transfer immediately through the Human Capital Management Information System (HCMIS)
 To check staff attendance and record in the attendance register of all departments
 Prepare Annual Personal Emolument Estimates
 To provide registry, office records and managerial services
 Coordinate security, cleanness and ground maintenance, real estates and transport services
 Custodial services to include maintenance of office equipment and buildings
 Serve as secretariat support to the appointment Ad Hoc committee of the council
 Hiring new Employees.
