Regardless of the marketing funnel, you have chosen to implement in your

business, one thing is sure - before you start driving traffic you must test
it.
Let’s talk about the most important areas where you need to do tests.

⃞Your Links
You need to make sure that your links are not broken and are working
correctly.
For that reason, you need to go through the whole funnel and test all the
links there are.
For example, when you drive traffic, is your link linking to the right
squeeze page?
When people opt in and receive the first email with your lead magnet - are
they able to download it?
When you provide value-based videos or PDFs or other downloadable
materials, again, do these links lead to the right place?
Don’t underestimate this step.
In the past I had an eBook I was driving traffic from and I found out that
the link in the eBook that leads to my squeeze page was broken.
It’s not that I put the wrong link there, it’s just I changed the squeeze page
and its location and as a result, the link in my eBook got out of date.
Hopefully, one of my students wrote me an email with the problem so I
fixed it on time.
When we talk links, you should also be thinking about any buttons on
your squeeze and sales pages.
I use Teachable to sell some of my programs there and they have a
template for the sales page of the program. I saw social sharing buttons and
I asked one of my developers to remove these buttons or to hide them!
Well, he did it but for some reason, the script he wrote hid my enrollment
button as well!
I’m glad I saw this on time!
Can you imagine what would have happened?
Driving traffic through the funnel, people get to the premium program and
want to buy and there isn’t an enrollment button!
And you know when you deal with technology, these things happen.
So before you start sending traffic, you need to make sure all links and
buttons are working correctly.

⃞Your Web Pages (Responsiveness, Design, Copy)

Misspelled words, design issues, responsiveness. As you know, a huge
percentage of the searches on Google happen from mobile traffic.
Run your texts through https://app.grammarly.com/ the free version is
enough to avoid any spelling mistakes.
For that reason, if your website or web pages are not mobile optimized,
Google will penalize you!
Problems with responsiveness might lead to people not purchasing as well.

⃞Your Emails (Email Sequence)

Besides the links in the emails, you should be careful about the words you
use in these emails. There are spam filters that can prevent your email
getting to the inbox of your subscriber.
Generally, each good email service provider will analyze your email before
you send it and tell you if there are any words with a high spam score.
Plus, you can easily find words with high spam score for your industry
when you do a Google search.

⃞Your Scarcity Tool (Timers)

You need to make sure your timers are working because this is what adds
urgency to any funnel. The good thing about Deadline Funnel is that you
can add a timer in your email as well as on your sales page and both timers
will be synchronized.
