Warehouse product management

Description: There is company having multiple chain of grocery store where


they want to arrange product so that product sale will increase.

Plan: We first decide which products we should place in a store according


to area, demand, profit etc.

Prepare: Check how to place products in a store so that customer will


easily attract to those products which even they don’t think to buy with the
products which they want to buy when they entered in the store. For
example:
Breads are present in a store we place in a same section so that customer
will easily choose which bread he/she wants to buy.
Or to place chocolates, candy juices near the billing counter so that kids will
easily attract toward these products when their parents are in waiting for
billing.

Process: Then store staff need to check how much variety of products
are present in a store and then place all the same product of different
variety in a single place in different section.
For example:
A person wants to buy bread so the grocery store staff place eggs, jams
etc. place near the bread section.

Analyze: Should analyze the expiry date of the products which is coming
near future or within few days we can put those products in sale and apply
some discount or offers so that customer will attract towards those
products and will make their mind to purchase those products
And place those products near the billing sections or on entry gate so that
those products got attention of the customers.

Share: Now after doing all the analysis communicate with the store
manager and team of managers who are interested in the analysis and in
increasing the sale of the outlet.
For example, we can show the data in terms of graphs, charts etc. so that
we can easily understand that which combination of placing will give
maximum result and profit.

Act: Then you can finally apply all the changes to the store for better
results.
