Dear Atty. Reyes-De Leon,

Warm greetings and may this letter find you well.

It would be my great honor and greatest pleasure if would be granted the opportunity to serve
and help our country through your Election Law Mentorship Program.

Regarding this matter, I am writing to express my interest in your Election Law Mentorship
Program. Election law is the law that governs on the rules on how elections are conducted
which plays a vital role in nation-building, after all elections serve as the voice of the people
in which they can participate in a democracy. Without elections the people will not have a
voice in governance and is being removed from their role in nation-building. Consequently,
Election Law being a field under Political Law intrigues me because of my interest in politics
given my training in Political Science and Public Administration as a Diplomacy Student and
my law school years enhanced it even further. Moreover, the recent election cases made me
more curious on how election lawyers do their work especially when it comes to the
mechanisms of the Automated Election System vote counting, gathering pieces of evidence
on votes and recount, the safeguarding of the Voter Counting Machines (VCMs), and the
maintenance of election security to avoid disturbances and election related violences.

Accordingly, given my law degree as well as passion for politics and public service, I can
humbly say that I have the passion and skills to excel in Election Law.
