Ba Be national park is in Nam Mau, Khang Minh, Cao Thuong, Quang Khe, Cao Tri in Ba Be district,

Bac Kan province. Ba Be Lake is made by three rivers, Ta Han, Bo Lu, and Leng, which sustain the
limestone mountains that makeup Ba Be National Park, which is home to a network of rivers, lakes, and
lowland evergreen forests with high level of biodiversity. The park opened on November 10, 1992.
Ba Be Lake, which may extend up to 8 km in length and 500 m in width, is the main attraction of the
park. It is located at a height of roughly 178 m above sea level. Vietnam's largest and highest naturally
occurring freshwater lake is this one.

Ba Be national park is about 240 km from Hanoi, so you can take a bus from Hanoi to Bac Kan,

Ba Be national park was named after Ba Be Lake. Ba Be Lake is the center of the tour to Ba Be
national park. The lake is like a beautiful turquoise lake located in the middle of a large garden.

Ba Be is one of more than 500 famous lakes around the world, it is one of the world’s most
important lakes that need to be protected. Ba Be national park has a high biodiversity in
Vietnam's special-use forest system. For example, there are 1,268 species of plants in Ba Be
National Park, many of which are uncommon and precious enough to be listed in the Red Book of
Vietnam and the World. Timber trees of great value and rarity, including "Nghien," "Dinh," "Lim," "Truc
Day," and "Lat Hoa"; among these, "Truc Day" refers to a unique variety of Ba Be bamboo that
frequently grows on cliffs and produces breathtaking scenery. Scientists from both home and outside rank
the national park as having the greatest biodiversity and unique center for flowers in all of Southeast Asia,
including Vietnam. With 106 species of fish and 470 species of vertebrates, the fish and fauna system are
incredibly diverse. In 2011, the park was recognized as a wetland area of international importance,
ranking 3rd in Vietnam and 1938th in the world.
