We regret to inform you that certain A6G415 (Jimny) vehicles have been built with the fuel
pump which had been produced with the component part improperly processed. Suzuki
Motor Corporation (SMC) have decided to conduct a recall campaign to address the
problem. We would like you to take the following actions.
This campaign is additional VIN range on previous 97-GQ recall campaign.
In addition to Jimny vehicles, your are requested to handle customers who used affected
fuel pump which had been supplied as spare part.
1. Condition
The fuel feeding impeller in the fuel pump, which is made of the resin material, may be
swollen and deformed in fuel due to the insufficient material density caused by the
improper injection molding process. The impeller may interfere with the fuel pump housing,
resulting in the fuel pump malfunction. In the worst case, it could cause the engine stalling
while driving.
For vehicles which had been replaced with affected spare part
(1) Model:
- A6G415 (Jimny) vehicle, which have been replaced with spare part
(15100-78R00).
- AZG412 (Swift) vehicle, which have been replaced with spare part
(15100-78P10).
- AZH412 (Swift) vehicle, which have been replaced with spare part
(15100-61P00).

becomes available for replacement.
