Teach the pupil the proper way of reading of ¼.
Show them where is the numerator and the denominator.
Ask the pupils to tell something about the numerator and denominator. 9

Ask: How many pieces the biscuit?
Take away one part.
Ask: How many parts of biscuit was taken away?
Ask the pupils to illustrate the situation above using region/circle.
Guide them. Then let the pupils write the fractional part of the biscuit
that was taken away.

Explain the definition and parts of unit fraction and also the proper
reading of fraction.

E. Application
Group the pupils into 3 groups. Explain to each group their assigned
activity. Let the pupils present their work.
