BUSINESS Visa Requirements for MEXICO

(DELHI)
• (PAX TO COME IN PERSON FOR BIOMETRIC AT THE TIME OF
SUBMISSION) AGENT NOT ALLOWED
• Original Valid Passport with at least 6 months validity from
the date of travel.
• 1 Form (printed back to back on a single sheet).
• 2 Photograph (Fresh ones i.e. NOT used earlier for
any visa) (passport size, colored with white background and without
spectacles).
• Passport Front and Back page copy.
• Covering letter addressed to The Visa Of cer, Embassy Of Mexico.
• Travel Itinerary (ticket) .
• Invitation Letter in Spanish from Mexico to be emailed directly to the
Embassy (contactoconind@sre.gob.mx) by the invitee in Mexico and
a copy of the same to be carried by the applicant while coming to
Embassy in Delhi for Biometric.
• Personal bank statement for last 6 month with original bank seal
and sign and till date .
• Personal IT returns for last 3 year
• Last 3 months Salary Slips .
• Authority Letter for Collection of Passport (if required to be
done by high season).
• Payment reciept of Embassy`s designated bank (Please refer
to notes below for fee deposit procedure)

• NOTE
• 1. Name of the Applicant should be EXACTLY SAME on all the
documents i.e. Passport, Invitation Letter, Bank Statement, IT Return
Papers, Salary Slips, Return Ticket, Hotel Con rmation, Exchange or
Credit Card Copy. If there is any mismatch of applicant name on any of

 the document, The Embassy will not process the visa but will ask the
applicant to submit the document again with the correct name.
• 2.Holders of valid visa of the United States of America (any nationality)
Schengen, UK
• Canada shall not require visa to enter Mexico with tourist, transit
and business purposes only,Embassy shall not accept
the visa application is the applicant hold the valid visa for
USA,UK,CANADA AND SCHENGEN.
• 3.Legal Permanent Residents of USA, Canada, Japan, United
Kingdom and Schengen States do not require visa for
enter Mexico with tourist, transit and business purposes.
• 4.Any other activity may be subject to the issuance of a Mexican visa.
• 5.Holders of Diplomatic or Of cial Indian passports do not require
a visa to enter Mexico for 90 days.
• 6.Of cial/Clergy of Religious organization require prior authorization
granted by the Immigration Authority of Mexico (Instituto Nacional de
Migracion, INM).
• 7. It is mandatory to provide Marriage certi cate if spouse is travelling
along with the main applicant and the Marriage certi cate must be duly
apostile.
• 8. It is mandatory to provide Birth certi cates of the children if children
are travelling along with the main applicant and the Birth Certi cates
must be dully apostile.

• As per Embassy's update, The payment of the visa application
must be done prior to the submission of the documents and it

All required documents must reflect complete name as

shown in passport. (Agent Not Allowed)
1. Original passport valid for at least six months and a clear
photocopy of the first and last page (vertical).
2. Proof of legal stay in India (Visa copy) in case the applicant
holds another nationality.
3. Application form duly filled (printed in one page, double
sided). (Download here).
4. One recent passport-sized photograph (4.5 CM X 3.5 CM),
white background, without glasses. Face should cover 80% of
the photo.

 5. Original cover letter given by your employer indicating date of
joining (Applicant must have been working at least 1 year in
the same company).
6. Original pay slips (last 3 months).
7. Original personal bank statement or pass book (last 3
months) certified by the bank.
8. Personal Income Tax Return (ITR) or Form 16 (1 year).
9. Visa fee ($36 US Dollars payable in INR at the current
exchange rate).
10. For spouses who are financially dependent on the main
applicant, include marriage certificate duly apostilled.
11. For children/ applicants under 25 years old who are financially
dependent on the main applicant, include birth certificate
dully apostilled.
12. For parents dependant on the main applicant, include birth
certificate of the main applicant dully apostilled by the
Ministry of External Affairs.
NOTE:
• Personal presence of the applicant(s) is mandatory for
biometric process and interview.
• The Consular Section may request further forms of proof
depending on each case.
• Names on all the documents should be exctly as on the
passport(s).
• If the applicant fulfils all requirements, visa processing
takes two working days.
• Having a Mexican visa gives the possibility to travel to
the country, but the entry to Mexican territory is subject
to the final decision of the Immigration and Health
Authorities in the country.
• Passport should be valid for at least 6 months from the date
of travel.
