LL.M PROGRAM

1. What is the LLM Program of Saint Louis University? The LLM


Program of Saint Louis University is an advanced post-graduate degree
program in law. It is a 48-unit non-thesis post-graduate course, delivered
purely online.

2. When will the LLM Program of Saint Louis University School


of Law be opened? The program will begin in January 2024.

3. Who are qualified to enroll in the LLM Program? All who


graduated with the LL.B. or J.D. degree. Passing the Bar is not a
requirement.

4. Can enrollment be done online? The enrollment process will be


conducted online, but the original paper documents must be submitted in
person or by mail to the Office of the Dean, Rm. 414 Diego Silang Building,
Saint Louis University, Bonifacio Road, Baguio City.

5. When will classes and enrollment begin? Classes in the LLM


program shall officially begin at the same time as classes in SLU begin.
Enrolment begins at least a week before the start of classes.

6. What is the modality and schedule of classes? Classes will be held


online and will meet one Saturday and Sunday per month. The classes will
be from August to December and the second semester would begin
February and end in June.

7. How long is the program? The SLU LL.M. program may be finished
in two years. You may enroll a maximum of twelve units per semester and
nine units in the last semester.

8. Is a thesis a requirement to graduate from the LL.M. Program


of Saint Louis University? No, we are offering a non-thesis program,
but papers and exams will be required for the satisfactory completion of
every subject.

9. How many units is the program? Forty-eight units. Students are


required to take a minimum of nine units and a maximum of twelve units
per semester. The subjects are fixed.

10. Who will be the professors? Classes will be handled by professors and
legal scholars from outside Baguio City.

11. How much is the tuition fee?


Php 65,000.00 – 12 units

12. What are the documentary requirements to be submitted to be


admitted to the LL.M. Program?

For JD and LLB graduates of Saint Louis University: For OLD

c. Readmission Form (Form A of URO)

i. Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
j. 3 pcs 2X2 ID Picture

13. What if these documents are not yet ready by January 2024,
may I still enroll? Yes, you can still enroll but our University Registrar’s
Office will require the execution of a promissory note for the submission of
this documents within the first month of classes. For this purpose, you
must accomplish the Promissory Note which may be accessed thru this
link.

14. How do I submit the documents required? Kindly follow the


following procedure:

a. Download the files that accessible thru the links above


b. Save all documents as portable data files (.pdf)
c. Rename all files, including those that were downloaded, using
the naming convention <Family Name First Name Document
Description> i.e., DELA CRUZ JUANITA APPLICATION
FORM
d. Attach the files in an email with the subject line SUBMISSION
DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS to sol.llm@slu.edu.ph

15. What happens after I submit the documents? We will contact you after we
have assessed the documents you have submitted. After which, we will forward
you the Authorization to Enlist to give us the authority to enlist you in the SLU
System.
