Ceiling Fans are quiet. They are designed for applications where a low noise, high reliability
ceiling or cabinet fan is required. With air capacities from 30 to 1600 CFM, they’re ideally
suited for use in ventilating bathrooms or other low to medium CFM applications. Housing
are fabricated of sturdy galvanized steel to ensure durability. Acoustic insulation, in
combination with matched motor and wheel assemblies, lower sound levels and improves air
performance. Further, motors are mounted on vibration isolators to minimize noise levels.
Together, these features ensure years of problem free, quiet operation.
Direct Drive and Belt drive Centrifugal Inline Fans are widely used in square ducts as clean air
boosters in both supply and exhaust systems where the installation of conventional blowers
is impractical. Their compact design gives designers an excellent alternative to conventional
blowers. Centrex Inline fans can be installed either horizontally, vertically or at any angle
determined by the duct work. Full size removable panels enable easy access to the fan
interior.
Stipulated usage
‐ Clean air
‐ Air which has little dust and grease content
‐ Slightly aggressive gages and fumes (please refer to our engineers)
‐ Media up to a maximum air density of 1.3 kg/m³
‐ Flow volumes at temperatures ranging from ‐30 ᵒC to 40 ᵒC (out of these temperatures
please see the catalogue information)
‐ Mediums up to max. humidity of 95% (avoid quick changes between dry and moistly air)

◆ Inspect the motor/ coupling: Abnormal noises, vibrations, excessive heating, wear signs,
misalignment or damaged parts
◆ Check bearings for abnormal noise, vibration or other abnormal operating conditions, like
motor temperature rise.
◆ Check cooling fan condition. Clean the air inlet & outlet openings to ensure a free air flow over
the motor
EVERY 3 MONTHS
◆ Lubricate bearings. For Centrex Inline bearings lubricate every six months.
◆ Greaseable bearings are factory lubricated and do not need any attention for the first year.
◆ Remove grease relief fittings while greasing to allow excessive grease to flow out.
◆ Wherever possible, apply grease when motor is running without superseding any safety
considerations.

Dynamo
INTRODUCTION
Utility Set
Dynamo centrifugal fans are SWSI, Class I, Arrangement 10
general purpose air moving devices. They are used for supply or
exhaust applications in commercial, institutional, and industrial
HVAC systems.
The fan wheel, venturi inlet, housing, and frame are engineered
to provide maximum performance and reliability.
Durable Housings
Dynamo blowers are manufactured of heavy gauge zinc coated
galvanized steel to insure a long, corrosion resistant life.
Galvanized steel resists rust and will help maintain the unit’s
integrity even in environments such as coastal regions where
salt air will rapidly deteriorate black iron, even when it is painted. Typical Drive, Shaft, and Bearings Assembly

The amperages given here are approximate values only and represent averages compiled from the tables of leading motor
manufacturers. Overload relay heaters should not be selected on the basis of these tables only. Heaters must be selected in
accordance with the actual motor current as shown on the nameplate. It is also important that ambient temperatures of the area in
which the motor control is located be taken into consideration when making heater selections. Ambient compensated overload relays
are available for abnormal temperature conditions.
On most Belt Drive PennBarry roof exhausters, the motor synchronous speed is 1800 RPM.

Wolter uses closed squirrel cage motors according to IEC 34, if required When ordering, please provide the following information:
also in accordance with EPACT. Standard motors are class F with IP 55 > fan type code (see opposite page), casing version and
protection class. Multi speed versions with 2 or 3 speeds (Dahlander form of running
circuit or separate windings) are also available, as well as explosion-proof
versions or specific industrial executions such as marine-type fans. The > duty required at standard air temperature
motor bearings have a L 10 life. (air volume in m³/h at static pressure in Pa)
