PREFACE
This worksheet is developed and designed for use in Grade I to compliment the
Primer and Alphabet Big book in Kankanaey, for a clearer and more purposive teaching
-learning of language.
The drills and skills-building exercises that are included in this workbook are
relevant and in line with situations and happenings in everyday living, so the Grade I
pupils can easily relate to them.
The worksheet addresses the felt and immediate need to have additional
instructional materials in Mother Tongue so the teaching-learning that use Kankanaey
can be more purposive, clearer and better sustained.
