Pre-Check Form for AI Curriculum Accreditations

This is a form for pre-checking possible accreditations for courses in the AI curriculum.

Existing accreditation tables can be found at the Bachelor and Master Program Details websites, respectively; use this form only for other accreditations.

After feedback from us, you have to hand in your accredition wishes at the Examination and Recognition Services office at JKU; hand in our feedback together with your application.
Please note that, in general, courses which have been used already within the admission-granting Bachelor degree, cannot be used again in the Master program.
There is no need to ask for accredition of Free Electives; all certificates from any recognized national or international post-secondary educational institution are allowed.
For a list of all Area of Specialization courses, please see the respective study guide; in case you cannot find a matching course, you may just generically write "Area of Specialization" in column I.

- If multiple courses are combined (on the left and/or right hand side), then make this clear by adding them with a "+".
- Types of courses: VL (lecture), UE (exercises), KV (combined course), SE (seminar), PR (practial work), etc.
- If ECTS are not applicable (but only some other measure), then write the unit explicilty and send us official information how to convert to the ECTS score.
- "Institution" refers to the University that issued the certificate (examples: JKU, TU Vienna, FH Hagenberg, etc)
- In the field "Info" provide a link to the course contents or refer to file name and page number of your attachments.
- Attach all relevant certificates in your email together with this file.
- To save time, you may want to contact the teacher of the courses directly (before using this form) and send us his/her assessment together with this form.
