DOCUMENTS CHECKLIST FOR NZ STUDY VISA –GEEBEE EDUCATION

Note: This is INZ generic requirements and Docs requirements may change case –case basis

1. Student passport (all pages of old and new passport )
2. Student offer letter & signed offer acceptance pages
3. All academics marksheets and certificates - Notarized
4. IELTS \ PTE scores—Notarized
5. Applicant -Complete set of work documents (appointment letters, relieving letter,
experience letter. promotion letters, salary slips, bank statement where the salary gets
credited, form 16, visiting cards)
6. Relationship Proofs Sponsors & Student (Adhaar)-Notarized or Any other Govt ID Proofs
7. Student self-declaration affidavit & sponsor affidavit--Notarized-Rs 50 stamp paper
8. Family Detail Sheet (Filled in Rough)
9. Visa fee – provide us the credit card details
10. Funds Documents –SEE BELOW
11. Sponsors Income documents –SEE BELOW
12. Net worth certificate issued by a Chartered Accountant and should reflect value of assets
in both currencies (Local currency & in NZ dollar (Recommended)
13. Digital Photograph - 45 mm height by 35 mm width (Size should be 381*528 pixels) (with
face minimum 70% and maximum 80%) on non-white but light colour background. (JPG
Format)

14. Financial Undertaking form –INZ 1014


15. Sponsorship Form for Temporary Entry' completed by an acceptable sponsor (if
applicable) –INZ 1025
16. Police Clearance Certificate (Police certificates must be less than six months old when
you submit your application)
17. Chest X Ray Medical Report - Medical Reports from Panel Doctor- It should not be 3
Months Old (Please check on link as below for list of empanelled doctors)

Funds Calculation:
Total Tuition fee (whole duration) + Living cost for (whole duration) + Travelling Cost

 Tuition Cost –NZD XYZ (Refer to Offer Letter)


 Living Cost –NZD 20000/ Year
 Travelling expenses NZD 2000

NOTE: Student can pay tuition fees up front for faster processing, but you must provide
evidence of the source of funds that made the tuition fee payment

Important Information about Fund & Acceptable Sources:

 Only 1 sponsor or financial guarantor is permitted. INZ may only accept a financial
guarantor -immediate family member (wife or husband, parents, brothers, sisters,
grandparents, parents-in-law) -KINDY DISCUSS CASE TO CASE
 Education Loan Secured with collateral property (LAP) from the nationalized bank - loan
sanction letter that states the security, moratorium period, interest payable, repayments,
and details of the security accepted for the loan.
 3 Months -Savings account statement with Balance Certificate from Bank
(INZ can request for last 6 months if required)- We recommend Student can provide longer
history (such as six months) to strengthen financial evidence.
 3 Months OLD Fixed Deposit with Balance Certificate from Bank -(if there is longer history,
please provide this).
 Last 1 Year Current Bank Account statement with Complete ongoing Business Proofs
(Only Indian residents)
 PF Funds (Disburse into savings) but only if they are supported by documents confirming
employment. – Can be acceptable for 1st Year
 Sale of Gold or Vehicle not acceptable
 Sale of Land as acceptable only with proper Govt registry & transaction proofs with
ownership proofs
 Sale of Crops is acceptable source with proper receipts (Govt issued and verifiable online)
 Real Uncle or Aunt sponsors not recommended
 Bulk FDs – Provide strong income and business proofs (even 6 months old)
 In account statement any transactions show any large deposits of more than NZD
$2,000 /INR 106000, or if there are multiple smaller deposits, explain where this money
has come from and provide supporting evidence
 Avoid recent opened bank account statements
 In case recent opened bank account statements – consolidate all funds into one source for
the visa application, explain where this money has come from and provide supporting
evidence to show the transfer of money from the original accounts into one account.
 AVOID multiple different fund sources are provided that cannot be independently verified
an application may be declined or may take longer to process (Source INZ)

INCOME REQUIREMENTS IN DETAILS :


 1 Year course Duration: Income should be 6-7 Lacs INR
 2 Years course Duration: Income should be 10-11 Lacs INR
 3 Years course Duration: Income should be 14 -16 Lacs INR
 Sponsors Job documents –Pan & Last 2-3 Years ITRs with computation pages or last 2-3
Years Form 16 (Govt Job) including last 6 months salary bank statement
 Sponsors Business Income documents- Pan & Last 2-3 Years ITRs with computation
pages + Current account statement (if app) + Business Registration cert or Business
license proofs or sale receipts photos of firms / agriculture Income proofs (Ownership
docs/ J forms/ Income cert etc)
Examples of Acceptable payment plans:

 Any assets that can be liquidated without impacting sponsor or family’s life (for example,
multiple rental properties owned) –Can be acceptable as payment plan
 Strong regular and steady employment by student parents, where employment history and
salary information are provided to show that they can continue to fund you while still
covering their own expenses – (Provident Fund advisable with Withdrawable limit
certificate but only if they are supported by documents confirming employment. -Can be
acceptable for 2 & 3 Year funds)
 LIC policies (surrender value)- Can be acceptable for 2 & 3 Year funds
 Mutual Funds statement can be acceptable for 2 & 3 Year funds (Maturity year should be
less than 2-3 years)

Examples of payment plans that DO NOT generally meet INZ


requirements:

 CA Networth report or Valuations – Cannot be considered as Payment Plan


 Any property ownership of the family home, where the plan for second year of study is to
sell the family home
 plans by your sponsor to fund your future years of study, which would leave them unable
to afford their own expenses (Less income sponsors)

Examples Of Some Funds That Do Not Generally Meet INZ


Requirements As Genuine And Accessible as direct funds
(But Most Of These Funds Can Be Disburse Into Savings and ifs its
verifiable then It Will Be Acceptable)
 credit cards
 cash or photos of cash
 gold or loans against gold
 jewellery valuation certificates
 loans from Non-Financial Banking Corporations
 Institutions or loans from co-operative banks
 Post Office held funds
 volatility/mutual funds
 funds from co-operative societies
 bonds
 property sales or statements stating a property may be sold to finance study
 agricultural income
 bank balance without supporting three month transaction history.
Cover letter cum SOP Contents
Statement of purpose that explains why you want to study in New Zealand and provides
information about you.

 It should include: › an outline of your study plans


 The reasons you chose this education provider and course › an idea of what you want to
do once you have finished your study. Be honest, if you want to apply for a different type of
visa after study, such as a post study work visa, then declare this.
 Details of education and training you have completed in the past or are currently studying,
including if you have started your course from outside of New Zealand › information about
what you were doing during any gaps in your recent education or work history.
 If gaps were due to the pandemic, please explain this.
 information on how you are paying for your study, including:
 a summary of the evidence you are providing with your application and where this money
has come from. It must show that this money is genuinely available for you to use while
you are in New Zealand.
o an explanation of how you will pay for your future years if you plan to study in New
Zealand for longer than one year (we call this a funding plan). Please include
evidence to back this up. For example, if parents are supporting future years
include their salary and employment information.
 › if you are supported by a financial guarantor or sponsor, provide evidence of how you are
related to them.
