international level. Ask yourself, would my research help other countries as well? Moreover, state
the rationale behind the study in order to convince other people that your study was thoroughly
done and could benefit them as well.

2. The “Definitions of Terms” ensures that your readers will understand the components of your
study in the way that you will be presenting them, because often your readers may have their own
understanding of the terms, or not be familiar with them at all.

Research Title: Effects of using Cellphone to the Academic Performance of Grade 12 ICT Vijungco students.
The purpose of this case-control study (type of study) is to identify (exploratory and non-directional verb)
the factors of using cellphone to the academic performance. (Central phenomenon of the study) of the
students from Grade 12 ICT Class (participants) for the last week of May 2021 (when) to know the main
