My name is Saif Abu Srour, and I come from the historic city of
Bethlehem in Palestine. I am a proud graduate of Palestine Ahliya
University, where I majored in Applied English Language. This academic journey wasn't just about obtaining a degree for me; it was a deeply enriching experience that allowed me to explore my passion for languages and effective communication.
Throughout my career in the tourism sector, I have had the privilege of
working in various settings, including lively bazaars, bustling hotels, and welcoming restaurants. These experiences have enabled me to interact with tourists from all corners of the world, enhancing my communication skills and giving me invaluable insights into different cultures and lifestyles, but Not knowing the language often led to turning simple interactions into confusing situations. these moments highlighted the importance of language in connecting and understanding each other. It's what drives my desire to learn Indonesian, aiming to make communication smoother and more meaningful.
Now, I am looking forward to a new chapter in my life. I am keen to
apply for the Darmasiswa program, an opportunity I believe will not only allow me to learn the Indonesian language but also open up new doors for personal and professional growth, and will enable me to communicate directly with Indonesian speakers, reducing misunderstandings and fostering a more authentic exchange of ideas and cultures.
I hope you’ve gotten a glimpse into who I am Thank you for your time and consideration.
