Course Content
Content will include
Interpretation of unusual/difficult ECGs
Ischaemic chest pain, acute coronary syndromes and PPCI
Acute heart failure, decompensated valve disease and aortic
dissection – challenging cases and difficult decisions
Evidence-based up to date management of arrythmias including
atrial fibrillation, unstable bradyarrythmias and persistent VF/VT
ICDs and pacemakers in the emergency department.
When to escalate to ITU and tertiary cardiac centres
Course Director
Dr Unni Krishnan is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist
(Addenbrooke’s and Royal Papworth Hospitals, Cambridge, UK),
specialising in the treatment of coronary artery disease including
coronary angioplasty and stenting.Enjoys auxiliary role as Affiliated
Assistant Professor, University of Cambridge and education lead
for post graduate and undergraduate training in cardiology
(School of Clinical Medicine, University of Cambridge).
