Hi all,

As you know, the deadline for filing the Income Tax Return 2023 has started. The last day
for its presentation is July 1st, 2024.

The Tax Agency (AEAT) offers you the possibility of having them prepare and file your tax
return free of charge.

How can I file my Income Tax Return with the AEAT free of charge?

1. By telephone

From now on, you can request a telephone appointment at the AEAT so that they can call you
and you can make and file your tax return by telephone with them.

The telephone numbers to request an appointment are 91.553 00 71 or 901 22 33 44.


The opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 09:00h to 19:00h.

2. By internet

It is possible to modify/file the Income Tax Return through the service Tramitación
borrador/Declaración (RENTA web).

3. In-person completing it at an AEAT Office

From May 29th, the deadline to request an appointment to file the Income Tax Return in person
at one of its offices is open.

The previous appointment can be requested through its web page www.aeat.es in the section
RENTA 2023 or by telephone at the telephone number 91.553 00 71 or 901 22 33 44. The
opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 09:00h to 19:00h.

If you are interested in making an appointment with the AEAT, it is important that you hurry as
they are quickly sold out.

The documentation you need to complete the Income Tax Return is as follows:

- Certificate of Income and Withholdings from work (Certificate from the school that you can find
in the Tramitapp application).
- Certificate of the INSS or SEPE if you have received benefits from these agencies
- Proof of payment for the purchase or rental of the habitual residence.
- Cadastral reference of the main residence
- In the case of renting, DNI/NIE number of the landlord or landlords.
- Income from the rental of the dwelling
- Certificate of contributions to the Pension Plan
- Bank account number
- Tax information from your bank
- Original DNI/ NIE
