Followers: 17.8 million, Instagram is Starbucks’s biggest and most followed social media platform
Appeal: Starbucks’s Instagram is very pretty to look at because there are many color schemes and the mood matches with the
season. This platform does a great job of showcasing new drinks and products and is very easy to navigate.

How often do they post? Videos: roughly 1-2 per month. Shorts: 1-2 times a week.
Followers: 408K, YouTube does not attract as many people compared to other platforms.
Appeal: YouTube showcases more of Starbucks’s impact on the community rather than posting about new products. On YouTube, there are
more reviews and focus heavily on vlogs and skits rather than just drink posts. The posts aren’t as aesthetic, but there are more styles and
variety of posts.
TIKTOK

Appeal: TikTok focuses more on reviews and
skits. This platform isn’t as aesthetic as
Instagram and isn’t as organized. TikTok
exposes drinks and products through skits and
more creative ways than just a picture of the
drink.

Followers: On Pinterest, Starbucks has 497k followers, with over 10 million monthly views.
Appeal: Pinterest is very aesthetic, and fun to look at. Multiply posts have a similar color scheme and give inspiration for future drink
orders and it’s easy to save pictures to a file to keep the orders for later. It also has a good mix of videos and pictures and does a great
good advertising and showcasing products.
