Gramatica de los

tiempos verbales

Introducción
Los tiempos verbales en inglés son modos que sirven para
identificar cuándo sucede una acción o estado de lo que se
habla en pasado, presente y futuro; su uso correcto es
fundamental para la congruencia y claridad de textos escritos o
discursos orales.
No obstante, este manual requiere de otras herramientas a
medida que la competencia lingüística con el inglés aumente. El
aprendizaje de una segunda lengua es un proceso complejo y a
medida que avance, se encontraran más detalles, excepciones a
las reglas presentadas y las instrucciones.
Introducción
Espero que disfrute de este útil manual y le proporcione las
herramientas necesarias para un buen comienzo en el
aprendizaje del inglés.

El presente manual, tiene por propósito ayudar en el


aprendizaje del inglés. En él se encuentra un gran cúmulo de
reglas gramaticales, de los siguientes
tiempos verbales:

1. Presente to be

Afirmativa:
Sujeto + verbo to be + verbo principal + complemento.

Negativa:
Sujeto + verbo to be + not + verbo principal + complemento.

Interrogativa:
Verbo to be + sujeto + verbo principal + complemento + ?
2. Pasado to be
I was late
• I, he, she, it, was. I wasn't late
• You, we, they, were. Was I late?
Afirmativo:
Sujeto (I, he, she, it) + was + verbo + complemento.
Sujeto (You, we, they) + were + verbo + complemento.
Negativo:
Sujeto (I, he, she e it) + wasn´t + verbo + complemento.
Sujeto (You, we, they) + weren´t + verbo + complemento.
Interrogativo:
Was + Sujeto (I, he, she, it) + verbo + complemento + ?
Were + Sujeto (You, we, they) + verbo + Complemento + ?
3. Presente simple
He likes pop
Afirmativo: He doesn’t like pop
Sujeto (I, you, we, they) + verbo + complemento. Do you work in
Sujeto (He, she, it) + verbo agregar una “s” + complemento. Seattle?

Negativo:
Sujeto (I, you, we, they) + don´t + verbo + complemento.
Sujeto (He, she, it)+ ) + doesn´t + verbo + complemento.

Interrogativo:
Do + sujeto (I, you, we, they) + verbo + complemento + ?
Does + sujeto (He, she, it) + verbo + complemento + ?
4. Pasado simple
He changed his job
Afirmativo: He didn't changed
Sujeto + verbo regular + ed + complemento. his job
Sujeto + verbo irregular + complemento. Did he changed his
job?
Negativo:
Sujeto + did + not (didn’t) + verbo infinitivo + complemento.

Interrogativo:
Did + sujeto + verbo infinitivo + complemento + ?
5. Presente conntinuo

Sujeto + be (am, is, are) + ing + complemento.

6. Pasado conntinuo

Afirmativo:

9. Will / Shall

Afirmativo:
Sujeto + will / shall + verbo en infinitivo + complemento.

Negativo:
Sujeto + will / shall + not + verbo en infinitivo + complemento.

Interrogativo:
Will / shall + sujeto + verbo en infinitivo + complemento + ?
10. Going to. I am going to visit my
